About Me
In 2013 I obtained my PhD in Heritage Studies with the thesis titled 3D Technologies as a Support for Industrial Design Museum Exhibition addressed to the possibilities of using 3D application (virtual museums, 3D printing, augmented reality, serious games) for interpretation of museum objects(to enhance inclusion, personal experience and active participation of the users) from museologic point of view.

For 6 years I was working (mostly communications) in a private sector (3D technology solutions company) where I was also a young researcher. During that period I was volunteering at the Museum and galleries of Ljubljana and attending their study group.

In 2008 I graduated from industrial design processes using 3D technologies.

Currently I'm collaborating in European project (eCultValue, http://www.ecultobservatory.eu/) as eCult Ambassador, a profile that connect technology developers with heritage institutions to enable better and as much appropriate access to heritage content using ICT.

Following the link some information about the last project event (Summer Stage) in Slovenia where I mentored a workshop on 3D applications can be found: http://www.kibla.org/en/coproductions-and-international-cooperation....

Membership: Interpret Europe – European Association for Heritage Interpretation, FUUH – Forum UNESCO – University and Heritage, Designers Society of Slovenia, Herit (initiator), a group of museum and heritage professionals in Slovenia (https://www.facebook.com/groups/herit/).

Under European Voluntary Service I served 8 months (2013–2014) in Morocco as a volunteer, working in digital communications and project coordination (promoting women's rights) as well as in other creative projects - a revitalization of a public park in cooperation with the local community.

Doctoral Dissertation:

3D Technologies as a Support for Industrial Design Museum Exhibition

The thesis (practical part) deals with the 3D technologies based interpretation of Slovenian modernist design/architecture icon K67 kiosk designed by Saša J. Machtig in 1966. The object is a part of MoMA's 20th century design collection.

During the research following proposals for the interpretation of the K67 kiosk were prepared: An interactive 3D computer model, a physical 3D printed model, a serious game »3D puzzle«, an augmented reality mobile application and the idea of the 3D digitisation of existing K67 units in collaboration with the public were created.

3D printed scaled model of the kiosk has been presented at the Silent Revolutions: Contemporary Design in Slovenia traveling exhibition. The model has been exhibited in London, Eindhoven, Ljubljana, Milan, Belgrade, Maribor, Helsinki, Vienna and Moscow.
